If you join us for worship, you will notice that we have people of all ages attending.  Some will be outfitted in dresses or suits and ties; some will be dressed more casually in slacks, and some may be wearing jeans.  (In the summer, some will don their shorts.) 

 

We have a blended style of worship.  There are contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns.  We sing first and foremost to God. We love singing hymns, and we love singing praise songs.  Praising God is our main concern--we do not come together to be entertained and have our senses delighted--we come to bring delight to God.  Of course, we desire find inspiration and to be refreshed at God's oasis while we live in a fallen and hurting world.  

 

Occasionally, we use drama as a means of making us think about what God is doing and about what we should be doing.  Preaching from God's Word is our primary focus. Our preaching, following the biblical pattern, calls us to repentance and salvation in Jesus, comforts us, warns us, explains God's promises to us, and blesses us.
