Our church, founded on God's Word, is called to glorify Him by being a loving body of believers who proclaim and live out the transforming gospel of Christ.

What's in our name?Cragmor: The Cragmor neighborhood of Colorado Springs is named after the Cragmor Sanatorium which opened for tuberculosis patients in 1905. The University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (UCCS) now occupies some of the sanatorium's buildings. Underground coal mining, now abandoned, also took place in the Cragmor area. Most of the houses in the area were built in the 1960s. The Cragmor Christian Reformed Church began in 1960. We desire to be a positive member of this neighborhood. Christian: We believe in Jesus Christ, his salvation, and his call to us to love people. We share his healing hope focusing on both our members and in our neighborhood. Christian Reformed (the Christian Reformed Church of North America) is the denomination to which we belong. To us, Reformed means
Christian Reformed is related to and similar to Presbyterian. What makes us distinct is our belief that God's Good News of salvation is also for all of life and for the world itself. God is reclaiming every aspect of the world he created, making it good again. He calls us to join him in this renewing and life-giving task. As a result, we are involved in a broad-based, renewing outreach ministry that shows love to the whole person, and tries to help people, both members and neighbors, in all their needs.
